Peoria, Ill. — The Catholic Diocese of Peoria’s 2011 25th annual Charis­matic Renewal Conference will be held July 29-30 in Peoria at the Four Seasons by Sheraton, 500 Hamilton Blvd.  The weekend will include presentations by Aggie Neck of the National Catholic Charismatic Re­newal and Mother Adela Galindo, founder of the Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary.  A diocesan choir will lead praise and worship. Bishop Daniel Jenky, CSC, and Father Paul Burak of the Archdiocese of Chicago will be the celebrants for Friday and Saturday evening’s Masses, respectively. Regis­tration is $70 for adults, $35 for full-time students in high school or college, and free for clergy, religious, deacons and seminarians. Bettendorf — St. John Vianney Parish is offering caregiver support meetings on the second Wednesday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. Janet Rubelmann, a parishioner of St. John Vianney, is the support meeting facilitator. Clinton — The Knights of Columbus will hold a corn boil Sunday, July 24, at St. Boniface Hall from 3:30-7 p.m. Menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, baked beans, sweet corn, potato chips, applesauce and lemonade. Tickets cost $7 for adults and $4 for children 10 and younger. The Ladies Auxiliary will hold a bake sale at the event.

Davenport — The resale shop Cinderella Cellar, 230 W. 35th St., is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Kahl Home for the Aged and Infirm. Cinderella Cellar is operated by volunteers from the Catholic Service Board.

Fort Madison — Southeast Iowa Catholic Singles will meet Wednesday, July 27, for a potluck at McAleer Hall, starting at 6:30 p.m. Bring a dish to share. Montrose — A fundraiser for Andy Farnsworth, who will serve with NET Ministries, will take place from noon to 6 p.m. July 24 at the Ivor Fowler Center. Bratwursts, hot dogs, potato salad, coleslaw, beverages and desserts will be served for a freewill offering. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a half-hog raffle, a silent auction and live music.
