Sister Anastasia Rose Glenn, CHM, 85, died Sunday, June 12, at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center, Johnston.  

Anastasia Rose Glenn, (Sister Mary St. Martin) was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Perry. She entered the Congregation of the Humility of Mary in Ottumwa on Jan. 6, 1946, and professed vows in 1948. She studied at Ottumwa Heights College, Ottumwa, and Marycrest College, Davenport.

Sr. Glenn spent many years in food service and supportive ministry for her community members at the motherhouse in Ottumwa and at convents in Fort Madison (St. Joseph), Des Moines (St. Anthony and St. Theresa), and Dunlap (St. Joseph). She was a baker at Sacred Heart School, West Des Moines, for nearly 20 years. She also served at the Christ Child Home, Des Moines, and St. Vincent Home, Davenport. 

In 2001, she moved to Bishop Drumm Retirement Center where she resided until her death.

Funeral is Thursday, June 16, 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Chapel, Bishop Drumm Retirement Center. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Ottumwa.
