The Good Friday special collection, as directed by Pope Benedict XVI, supports programs and services in the Holy Land.
Few places in the world are as precious to Catholics as those where Jesus Christ, Our Savior, walked and taught . . . lived and died. Your continued generosity is a great source of support for the victims of violence in the Holy Land. Every place in the land where Christ was born and died is in great need of help today.
You can help keep alive those Holy Places and the work of the Franciscan missionaries who have served the people there since the 13th century. All the work done by the Franciscan Friars for the pilgrims, the native Christians and the poor of every faith depends in great part on your charitable assistance.
Please pray for peace in the Holy Land and please give generously to the annual Good Friday collection for the Holy Places and the Church’s works of mercy to help alleviate the suffering and need in the Holy Land.
