CLINTON — Prince of Peace Players, under the direction of Tom Jankowski, will present “Godspell Jr.” on April 14, 15 and 16.
“Godspell Jr.” is an adaptation of the Off Broadway production of “Godspell,” which ran for more than 2,000 performances. It revolves around the Gospel of Matthew with a message of faith, hope and love.
Prince of Peace Players consists of Noah Strausser as Jesus and Paige Whitney as Judas/John the Baptist. The Apostles and followers are played by Keaton Fuller, Katie Anglese, Ellen Vander Bleek, Kirsten Heeren, Sydney Schreiber, Clarissa Marten, Anna Black, Megan Mulholland, Erin Vander Bleek, Chloe Whitney, Miranda Schnier, Caitlyn Jacobs, Rebecca Divarco, Morgan Berry, Jackie Posey, Emily Kuehn, Katie Motroni, Taryn Troxell, Chloe Vogel, Sydney Kaup, Jakob Motroni, Jason Vogel, Aidan Sager, DJ Guillory and Krista Atkinson. Music direction is by Elise Croner; stage manager is Kyle Kilburg, and assistant stage manager is Ryan Kilburg.
The April 14 performance is a dinner theater that begins at 6 p.m. and is catered by The Corner Deli. Reservations are required for this performance. The cost is $12. To make a reservation, call Prince of Peace Schools at (563) 242-1663. The April 15-16 performances begin at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students. All performances will take place at Prince of Peace Schools, 312 South Fourth St.
