Father Ron Young, 61, a priest of the Diocese of Davenport, died Jan. 11 in Sacramento, Calif.
He was serving as a counselor in California.
Fr. Young was ordained May 24, 1975, at St. Patrick Church in Corning by Bishop Gerald O’Keefe. He served in Iowa City, Ottumwa, Eddyville, Charlotte, Villa Nova, Farmington, String Prairie and Clinton.
Funeral services will take place at a later date.
