DAVENPORT — The following events are slated at Eagles’ Wings Retreat Center, 5816 Telegraph Road:
• Wednesday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: “Let the Children Come!” Children ages 8-12 will have the opportunity to experience creativity and the Holy Spirit. Kids can bring a sack lunch. Registration is $15 per child for the first two children in a family. More than two children within the same family are admitted free. To register, call (563) 324-7263.
• Friday, Dec. 31, beginning at 6 p.m.: New Year’s Eve party. Bring a beverage and appetizer, both to share.
Regularly scheduled activities (such as a SWAP meeting, healing Mass and Lesson with Lunch) will not take place in January. The retreat center will be closed that month.
