Father Tony Herold was just assigned as pastor of Ss. John & Paul Parish in Burlington this summer, but it did not take him long to get involved with the students at Notre Dame Elementary School.
He recently met with second-grade classes as they were getting ready to receive the sacrament of first reconciliation. Second-grade teachers Leeanne Fenton and Lindsay Gunn had been preparing the students, and the children were ready and eager when Fr. Herold visited their classes.
