Nancy Moeller, 76, a resident of Bettendorf, passed away, Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Funeral services and a Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2010, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Bettendorf. Burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be today (Thursday) from 5-7 p.m. at the church. Additional visitation will be from 9:30-10:15 a.m. Friday morning at the church.
Nancy was born Dec. 18, 1934, in Davenport, a daughter of Bernard and Mildred (Lemburg) Lind. She was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Moeller on Oct. 8, 1955. She retired from the Bettendorf School District after 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, or to a charity of your choice.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 55 years, Richard; daughter, Karen Moeller; Bettendorf; a son, Greg Moeller, Davenport; grandchildren, Jason Moeller, Ramsey, Tyler and Rachel Vens, all of Bettendorf, son-in-law, Larry Vens, Bettendorf; sister, Darlene “Porky” (Tom) Gadient, Bettendorf; special family members, Jamie Collins, Davenport, and Connie Droessler, Bettendorf.
