Davenport — The Sisters of Humility invite the general public to pray with them at 11:40 a.m. Wednesdays during a special Mass for peace. It will be celebrated in the Magnificat Chapel at the Humility of Mary Center, 820 W. Central Park Ave.

Iowa City — Centering Prayer groups meet from 7-8 p.m. Mondays at the Mercy Hospital chapel, and from 9-11:30 a.m. the fourth Saturday of each month at a member’s home. For more information, call Maureen Kelley at (319) 338-8284.

Iowa City — People meet to pray the rosary and receive Communion at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Melrose Meadows Retirement Community. All Catholics are welcome.

Melrose — The Knights of Columbus of Albia sponsor a 24-hour adoration the first Friday of the month at St. Patrick Church in Melrose. Mass begins at 8 a.m., followed by 24 hours of adoration, and closes with benediction at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday. For more information or to sign up for an hour, call Tony Humeston at (641) 932-7709.

Bettendorf — St. John Vianney Parish is offering caregiver support meetings on the second Wednesday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. Janet Rubelmann, a parishioner of St. John Vianney, is the support meeting facilitator. Coralville — People of faith across Iowa are caring for God’s creation by reducing energy use in their own homes, reducing pollution and saving money in the process. Bring a team from your congregation to a training workshop to learn how to get your faith community involved in a Cool Congregations stewardship program. It will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 15, at Community of Christ, 2121 South Ridge Drive, Coralville. It is co-hosted by Trinity Episcopal and Unitarian Universalist Society of Iowa City. Davenport — Students Against Destructive Decisions at Assumption High School will present Regan in concert from 7:30-9 p.m., May 8, in Sunderbruch Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door. All proceeds go to the Haitian orphanage “Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos” — Our Little Brothers and Sisters.

Iowa City — An Altar & Rosary plant sale will take place at St. Wenceslaus Church, 630 East Davenport St., Saturday May 8, from 8 a.m. to noon.
