Kindergarten to sixth-grade students raised more than $1,500 to purchase dry food mix through Kids Against Hunger, an international food relief campaign. In a little over two hours Feb. 3, students packaged more than 8,000 meals that will eventually make their way to Haiti.

The students were excited to be able to make a small difference in the lives of earthquake survivors. To raise money, students participated in Penny Wars, a Hat Contest and Bubble Gum days.
