That was a good editorial, “Where are the women?” by Frank Wessling (Catholic Messenger, March 18). I agree 100 percent.
Many things in our church could be better if women were included in the decision making. But how do we get there? People who have power do not give it up easily. And we hear all the old excuses from Rome that “we can’t change it” and “it isn’t Scriptural.”
I’m 81 and I’m afraid I’ll die before any significant changes happen.
