Why Catholic? leadership workshops slated

An introduction to small community leader enrichment for the Why Catholic? program will be held Sept. 11-14 at various sites in the Diocese of Davenport.

The workshops are for new and veteran leaders, co-leaders, potential and interested leaders. Renew International offers Why Catholic? as a journey through the cathecism, according to its Web site. It is an adult faith formation program based on Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church and updated to include the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.

Programs begin in the parishes this fall.
