Open house for Clinton Sisters’ offices

CLINTON — The Sisters of St. Francis, Clinton, who moved into their new administrative office building in March, are holding a public open house on Wed., Oct. 7, from 4-6 p.m. The offices are located at 843 13th Ave. N., next to the Sisters’ home, The Canticle.

The building houses the offices of the congregation’s president, general secretary, canonical treasurer, the finance, development and communication departments, and the Clinton Franciscan Center for Active Nonviolence and Peacemaking.

Designed by the Sisters and built by Tietjens-Lockhart Construction, Inc., of Clinton, the building features eco-friendly design and construction including geothermal heating and air conditioning, solar-tubes, and pretroleum-free flooring.
