Events to help women find peace

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Join in dialogue with other faith-filled women at the Benet Retreat Center, St. Mary Monastery in Rock Island, Ill., on Oct. 5 and 12. Part 1, Monday, Oct. 5, 7-8:30 p.m.: Finding and Maintaining Inner Peace Among Family and Friends, with Sophia Farooqui, Indian Muslim and Davenport para-educator; and Elizabeth Swanson, Cistercian associate and spiritual director in the Quad-City area.
