Show charity in health care debate

This will probably come out sounding really preachy and, folks, that is NOT what I intend. That said:

I am not asserting that I have all the answers to health care reform in America. I do, however, subscribe to the following guideline for the discussion:

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That’s for the plan itself and for the discussions now taking place.

Don’t yell, folks. It’s neither polite nor American to drown out voices in the discussion.

As Pope John XXIII famously said: In essentials, unity. In doubtful matters, liberty. In all things, charity.

So be it.
