SOLON — A daylong Ministry Formation Program retreat sponsored by the Diocese of Davenport will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Mary Parish Center, 1749 Racine Ave. NE in Solon. Bishop Martin Amos will celebrate Mass at 11 a.m., and the liturgy will include commissioning for those completing ministry formation. IlaMae Hanisch, diocesan lay ministry formation and adult/family formation coordinator, will facilitate the retreat.
Registration deadline is Sept. 11. Cost is $20, which includes retreat materials, lunch, snacks and a personal copy of “Open the Door: A Journey to the True Self” by Joyce Rupp.
