DAVENPORT — A one-day community organizer training will be held Aug. 8 from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. at the Genesis Heart Institute in Davenport. Greg Galluzzo, director of the Gamaliel Foundation, will lead the training. He is a recognized national leader in faith-based community organizing. Cost is $5, which includes lunch and materials.
