Sister Mary Patrice Murray, DC, a former principal in the Diocese of Davenport, died June 14 in Washington, D.C. She was 68.
Born in San Francisco, she graduated from Marillac College in St. Louis, St. Louis University and the University of San Francisco.
She entered the Daughters of Charity on June 5, 1960, and professed vows June 5, 1965.
Sr. Murray served as principal at St. Vincent Catholic School in Keokuk from 1994-96. She taught or served as principal at other schools in Texas, Missouri and Louisiana.
The funeral for Sr. Murray was June 19 at Marillac Provincial House in St. Louis.
