Thank you to Frank Wessling for telling us about his dad (The Catholic Messenger, May 7). He must have been a great man.
And thank you to Deacon Art Donart for his letter concerning gay marriage. A few years ago I read in a Christian magazine a letter to the editor from a gay person, man or woman, I can’t remember. What I do remember is what the person wrote: “I was born the way I am. Must I be denied forever the love of another person? Does this mean that God made a mistake?”
