My first reaction after reading Cullin Schooley’s letter to the editor (April 23, criticizing the bishops’ statement on same-sex marriage) was, “Why is such stuff printed in a Catholic paper? Don’t we get enough from TV and the secular press? I expect to be uplifted by reading The Catholic Messenger.
