School to celebrate Grandparents Day

Second-graders Olivia Harrison, Allison Wallace, Michael Tallman and Anthony Valanis read with grandparent Patricia O’Hara.

You can see them at most activities and events at the school. They go to Mass. Some volunteer as classroom tutors. They can also be spotted in the parking lots before and after school helping with rides. They are grandparents, and they play an important role in the family hallmark at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School.

Students at St. Paul’s will celebrate Grandparents Day May 22. Grandparents are invited to join the school for Mass that Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the church to recognize and thank grandparents for the important roles they play. Classroom visits will follow Mass. Students will make and send invitations to their grandparents and make other items for Mass to make the event special.

Mark your calendars now and plan to join St. Paul’s May 22!
