NORTH LIBERTY — Women in the Davenport Diocese are invited to the Davenport Diocesan Council of Catholic Women’s annual meeting, Earth in Our Hands 2009 and Beyond. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, at Ms. Susan’s Catering and Reception Hall, 1215 Jordan St., North Liberty. Early registration is $14. Meeting will include Mass with Bishop Martin Amos; keynote speaker Sister Joan Lescinski, CSJ, president of St. Ambrose University in Davenport; a display of First Ladies’ inaugural ball gowns and lunch.
