DAVENPORT — Hannah Faith Houk, daughter of Benjamin and Jessica (Shafer) Houk, was born peacefully sleeping on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport, on her maternal grandparents’ 26th wedding anniversary.

A funeral Mass was held July 7, 2009, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Buffalo, Iowa. Visitation was Monday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetary. Memorials may be made to the family or Animal Aid and Education.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by grandparents, Al and Trudi Shafer and Steve and Peggy Houk; great-grandparents, Connie Wickman, Debbie and Richard Shafer, and Bill and Beverly Brundies; aunts, Samantha Shafer and Wendy Storm; uncle, Zack Shafer; special aunts, Marilyn Snyder and Barbara Randolph; and cousins Gabrielle, Christian, and Hayden.

Hannah was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Mike and Rita Metz and Ed Wickman.
