BETTENDORF — Sandi Frericks, wife of the late Deacon Don Frericks, died April 23.
Her funeral was April 26 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Blue Grass, where the couple belonged for years. Deacon Frericks not only served as deacon, but as its first parish life coordinator. Her burial will be at Cedar Memorial Cemetery in Cedar Rapids at a future date.
The couple were married 60 years before his death in 2021. Survivors include their children Troy (Melanie) Frericks, Des Moines; Timothy (Kelly) Frericks, Princeton; Lynnette (Brad) Creighton, Bettendorf; Melinda (Donald) Furman, Forest City; and Tiffany (Troy) Paarmann, DeWitt; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
